Bita Takrimi

Bita earned degrees in Russian language and literature for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Her master's thesis combined linguistics, literature, and translation. The examination of translated Russian literary works based on N.V. Gogol's "Dead Souls" and F.M. Dostoevsky's "The Idiot" was the focus of the thesis. She analyzed several Russian linguists' points of view in the first chapter of her thesis. In the second chapter, she researched the variations in translations of Russian literary masterpieces from the Russian language, identified gaps in those translations, and provided a list of appropriate translations and equivalents.
