Nina Wieda

Nina Wieda is trained in analyzing daily behaviors through the prism of values and ideas that affect them. She is passionate about equity in educational opportunities; her op-ed "Admitting First-Generation and Low-Income Students is Not Enough" appeared in "Diverse Issues in Higher Education" in August 2022. In November 2022, Nina led a workshop on designing academic internship programs at the Association of Experiential Education annual conference. In April 2023, she presented a webinar "Supporting First-Generation Students in Competitive Careers" at the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). One of 19 young professionals from the greater Chicago area, Nina was selected to participate in the Emerging Leaders program with the Chicago Council on Global Affairs 2020 cohort.
