Research Interests
Seamas O’Driscoll received his Ph.D. in Slavic Languages & Literatures from Harvard University in 2005. His research focuses on the cultural history of capitalism in pre-Revolutionary Russia. He is currently working on a book that examines the interaction of political economic thought and fiction-making during the period of Russian realism. A native of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Professor O'Driscoll has lived in Russia, France and in the Connemara Gaeltacht -- one of the Gaelic speaking regions of Ireland.
